Catch the Nottingham Panthers in pre-season action as they take on French top-flight sides Ducs d'Angers and Gothiques d'Amiens, as well as elite league rivals Cardiff Devils. Both Amiens and Angers visited the Motorpoint Arena last season, and their return to Nottingham throws up some intriguing sub-plots for pre-season.

The Nottingham Panthers are the only professional ice hockey team in the East Midlands. Playing out of the Motorpoint Arena, Panthers games provide an atmosphere like no other, whether you’re looking to start your night with something different or spend some time with the family.

The action is fast, non-stop and physical as the Panthers battle it out with teams across the Elite Ice Hockey League for the points that will take them to the top of the standings and put them in contention for the league title when the season ends.

Sunday 23rd August (4pm Faceoff)
Panthers v Ducs d'Angers

The opening game of pre-season sees another return to Nottingham for former coach Jonathan Paredes, who coached the panthers with distinction in the 2023-24 campaign. All tickets for this game are priced at £12.

Saturday 29th August (7pm Faceoff)
Panthers v Gothiques d'Amiens

For the second pre-season in succession, Amiens will visit Nottingham and once again there's a familiar face behind the bench, former Panther and fans' favourite Bruce Richardson. The Amiens roster has a number of familiar names who have played in the Elite League in recent seasons.

Saturday 5th September (7pm Faceoff)
Panthers v Cardiff Devils

Panthers will complete their home pre-season campaign against Elite League rivals Cardiff Devils. Panthers and Devils have a long-standing rivalry going back decades, and matches at the Motorpoint Arena always have a bit of spice.
